What a rush: From Alaska and the mountains to Tucson and the desert to Philadelphia and big-city life. Oddly, I’m enjoying it here, even though I am not a city person. Still, it’s different, it’s exotic, and running along the river the other evening and seeing the city skyline reflected with the pink hues of sunset brought tears to my eyes. There’s beauty everywhere, people. I just need to remember to appreciate it when I see it.
P.S. I’m reading the best memoir, “Kabul Beauty School” by Deborah Rodriguez. I highly, highly recommend.
Great photos. Haven’t been back to Philly in a long time. A great city for running. Lots to see.
I don’t read a lot of memoirs, but that one looks intriguing!
