This past week I’ve been blessed.

Blessed with books. Is there anything better?

On Monday I received a copy of The Liars’ Gospel, by Naomi Alderman. I won this in a giveaway, though I don’t remember which one (oops!). So thanks, for whomever hosted the contest. It was great to win. And will be even greater to read.

Wednesday I hit the jackpot with two steamy wins: The Big Book of Bondage and Frenzy, both by ever-erotic and woman-friendly Cleis Press. I nabbed these in the giveaway on Sharon Wachsler’s blog, Bed, Body & Beyond. Thanks, Sharon! Trust me–we will read and put these to good use.

I also won a copy of Blog It, from my writer crush, Molly Greene. Hopefully, this will prompt me to become a more avid blogger, with stunning blog posts and photos so crisp they will cause readers’ eyes to ache.

Joya Ryan   kindly sent me a copy of her very hot new release, Break Me. I’ll be reviewing this within the next couple of weeks, so please stay tuned.

What is so amazing about these five titles (apart from five great reads) is that I got them all for absolutely frickin’ nothing. Which makes the reading that much sweeter, and brings me to this point: People, enter giveaways. Enter contest. It takes only a minute, and if I can win, so can you.

I’m not the lucky type and never used to enter giveaways. I was sure I wouldn’t win, and most of the time, I don’t. But every so often–presto!, my name is chosen, and that’s what keeps me going. (It’s like gambling in this respect, no?)

I hesitate to include this first entry, since I’ve been waiting to read it for weeks and the more who enter, the less chances I’ll pick up a free read.
